About Antioxidant

A NZ Artisan Awards Bronze Medal winner. This warming hand-blended spice tea features dried white ginger root from the eastern states of India, hand-crushed cinnamon, whole star anise pods, and freshly added cardamom, sealed at the final stage of blending to preserve maximum freshness and aroma.

Taste profile

Warm and richly spiced. Cinnamon and ginger carry the heat, cardamom and star anise add a sweet liquorice depth, and rose and chamomile keep it from tipping into a chai. Naturally sweet with nothing added.

Brewing tips

Steep 1 tsp in 90 to 95°C water for 5 to 8 minutes. The spices bloom beautifully with a second brew, add more hot water and enjoy again. Honey enhances the natural sweetness of the cinnamon and star anise.
