About Cork Lid Teapot 450cc

Crafted from high-quality borosilicate glass, this 450 ml teapot is heat-resistant and crystal clear, so you can watch the colour develop as it steeps. The round cork lid adds a touch of natural elegance and seals well enough to keep tea hot or cold for longer.

Just as good for iced tea as hot. Fill it with your blend, add ice, and let it steep. It also pairs neatly with our cork lid jars.

Material

  • Material: borosilicate glass body with a natural cork lid
  • Capacity: 450 ml, about two cups
  • Use: hot or iced tea

Caring tips

  • The glass body is dishwasher safe.
  • The cork lid is not. Keep it out of the dishwasher and don't leave it soaking, or the cork will swell and lose its seal. Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry.
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes, since rapid swings are the most common cause of glass cracking.
Common questions
Can I use this with any Magic T tea?

Yes. It works with any of our loose leaf blends or pure herbs. Add a heaped teaspoon per cup and steep for 5 to 7 minutes, or follow the brewing tips on the tea's own page.

What if it arrives broken, or breaks while I'm using it?

If it arrives broken, we replace it. If it breaks while you're using it within the first 30 days, we replace that too. Email info@magict.co.nz with a photo and we'll sort it out. Glass is glass, and we'd rather stand behind it than argue about it.

What if I break the infuser or the lid?

It happens, and it usually doesn't mean replacing the whole thing. Email us at info@magict.co.nz with a photo and tell us which piece broke. We keep spare infusers and lids for most of our glassware and will let you know what we can do.
