Hibiscus has long been admired across cultures for its vibrant colour and symbolism. From ancient stories of Goddess Kali in India to the legendary love of Adonis and Aphrodite in Greece, the hibiscus flower has symbolised delicate beauty. In Victorian times, gifting a hibiscus was a way to acknowledge someone’s graceful charm.

This blend combines 100% dried whole hibiscus flowers with hand‑crushed cinnamon, creating a rich, deep‑red infusion with a sweet‑tangy, berry‑like flavour and a warm, aromatic finish.

Whether you brew it hot or cold, the flavour is full and lingering, offering a refreshing and flavourful experience. The ingredients are simply hibiscus and cinnamon, clearly listed in the ingredients panel in accordance with food labelling requirements.

Brewing Tips

  • How much? Begin with a teaspoon (or a three-finger pinch) and adjust to your preference. Remember, you can always add more tea for a stronger brew.
  • How hot? 90-95 Degrees Celsius. That's a boiled water that just stopped bubbling.
  • How long? 5-8 minutes. Over-brewing can lead to bitterness.
  • Second Brew? This tea can be brewed a second (or even third) time, simply add more hot water.
  • More Flavour? Enhance your tea's flavour with a drizzle of honey. Explore different combinations to find your perfect cup.
